Tony Shiffman | OL Coach Lake Forest College, IL
The former head coach at Fort Madison, IA, at the time of this video grew up in Illinois and followed high school coaching to North Carolina then Tennessee, on to Iowa and finally landing at Lake Forest College in the Spring of 2019. After taking over a program that was running single wing and double wing concepts, they switched to a spread offense and rushed for more yards on less carries. They also improved from 7 rushing touchdowns the year before he arrived to 17 rushing TDs in his first year.

Bloodhound Spread Run Game & O Line Drills
Coach Shiffman’s offense is a gap scheme system with some zone principles. They are going to run zone, power, and counter while they spread the field as much as they can, always looking for a mismatch. In this video Coach Shiffman takes a good look into what they run and why the run it. He then begins to dive into the details of their offensive line play within their system starting from stances and starts. Coach covers the install and coaching points of their 3 base schemes following up each with footage of the o line drills that go along with those coaching points.
